Share the excitement of WORLD CLASS COMPETITION

The Dallas International Girls Cup offers world class competition at all levels. Many of the world’s premier clubs will compete in the tournament. The Dallas Texans, the #1 youth club in the U.S., will have its girls teams compete, and invitations will go out to the top clubs in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America and Asia to apply and compete.

General Tournament Format

    • Tournament Dates: March 27-31, 2013.
    • 16-32 teams per age category.
    • Girls born on/after August 1, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. For international teams the tournament organizer might grant dispensations for players who are up to 7 months older.
    • All teams will need to apply for the tournament and the best teams (determined by a tournament committee) that apply will be invited to participate.  
    • Top international teams from all over the world will be invited. Home stays available at no charge for international teams.
    • The tournament will be open to all international teams and US teams that are official members of a USSF affiliate organization such as US Club Soccer or US Youth Soccer. All players, with the exception of 5 guest players, must be officially registered members of your club.
    • Teams will play a minimum of 3 full group/bracket games Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the quarter finals and semi finals will take place. These games will be between 2*30 and 2*20 minute halves. Teams will arrive April 2 (international teams) and 3 and departure April 1, 2013.
    • International teams need to arrive by March 25. US and Canadian teams need to arrive by March 25. Departure will be April 1.

World Class Referees

The Dallas International Girls Cup will partner with the Dallas Cup to bring in top referees from around the world for this tournament. The Dallas Cup "Referee Family" is considered by many to be the world’s best for a youth tournament. World Class referees, many of whom are FIFA referees with past World Cup appointments, take part in the tournament.

College Coaches

College coaches from across the United States consider the Dallas International Girls Cup as one of North America’s premier tournaments and an opportunity to scout top prospects competing at world class levels. In 2012 more than 100(!) college coaches came to the Dallas International Girls Cup.

Enjoy a fun-filled week of Activities and Genuine Texas Hospitality

The week is full of additional activities including a Reception for team officials; Opening Ceremony; and optional visits to the Dallas West End, John F. Kennedy Memorial and Sixth Floor Museum, Southfork Ranch, Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park, Fort Worth Wild West Stockyards, many museums and great shopping and restaurants.

Accommodations & Local Transportation

Additional information will be available on the website when the selection/invitation process begins.
All accepted/participating teams from the U.S. and Canada will be required to book rooms at one of the designated Dallas International Girls Cup hotels. Hotels and rates will be determined and available prior to the start of the selection process.

Team Registration/Check In Process

All teams will be required to check in on March 26. More information to follow in regards to times and locations of check in/team registration. Note: International teams must have their players with passports available at registration.

Home Stay Program

For international teams (except Canada and Mexico), the HomeStay Program is available with families of teams from the Dallas Texans which also participate in the tournament. The HomeStay Program is for maximum 18 players and 2 coaches and includes sleeping arrangements and two meals per day for a maximum of 7 nights. International teams that are approved for the HomeStay program will be required to arrive in Dallas on March 25, before the tournament begins and depart from Dallas on April 1.

Facilities

The tournament will take place at the brand new Ross Stewart Soccer Complex in Farmers Branch, Texas (close to Dallas, TX) including six world class fields (with lights), a club house and parking facilities. In addition to the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex, games will take place as well at the Cox Soccer fields (3 grass fields, located only a few miles from the Ross Stewart Complex.

Schedule of Events

Mond., March 25 

All day: Arrival of international teams.

Tues., March 26 

All day: Arrival of U.S. and Canadian teams. Check-in all teams.
Evening:
International opening ceremony at SMU McFarlin Auditorium for all players, staff and parents - 8:00PM. Please understand that your attendance at the opening ceremony is an essential part of the event and is a requirement for all participating teams.

Wed., March 27

All day: First round tournament games (group matches).

Thurs., March 28

All day: Continuation of group matches.

Fri., March 29

All day:Continuation of the tournament as well as vendor fair at the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex.

Sat., March 30

All day: Continuation of the tournament as well as vendor fair at Ross Stewart Soccer

Complex.

Sun.,March 31

All day: Finals, placement matches and friendly games and vendor fair.

Mon., April 1

All day: Departure of teams.
